Our handsome man

Elijah finds grass fascinating.
Apologies to grandparents for the lack of pictures lately. We have been busy growing, wearing shoes, sleeping, eating lots of food and making lots of new sounds.

Love my rellies

We went to UWA to see Aunty Prue

We had a great time catching up with family on our lightning trip to Perth. Elijah is a huge fan of his cousin Thomas, and Thomas loved Elijah and shared his books and toys very nicely. Thomas is so full of words now. His latest advice to me on the phone was "Don't eat rotten vegetables!"

On the foreshore

Sam and Elijah relaxing on our beautiful foreshore.

Sunset in Dongara

We love living by the Indian Ocean!

Happy mother's day mum!

This is my beautiful mum, who easily handled three babies (Elijah, Lachlan and Pen) while I gave a piano lesson. Thanks mum!

On the high seas

"I'm so scared Sammy. I've never been in a boat before!"

"It's OK Elijah. I'll take care of you."

"Just go like this with you arms, see?"

"I guess I could learn to enjoy this."

"Um, Sammy, I'm starting to feel a bit woozy."
"We have no choice then, we'll have to bail out, Elijah!"
"Thank goodness, we're on dry land again."

Off to school!

We went to Tyler's class today so that Elijah could be his 'news.'

It was good fun but a bit tiring!

Like my hair?

Elijah still loves being in the bath and playing with his bath toys. He doesn't like to get out and give them up!

Our grass

Since the reticulation was put in the grass has grown a lot. The other day dad mowed it, so now I have a lovely front lawn to play on!

words and pictures, pictures and words. snapshots of life as Tyler, Penny, Elijah, Devery and Geordie Swartzentruber know it.
