Not for babies

I found this picture on the camera. Obviously Tyler is trying to instil a love for American cereal in Elijah. Mummy says not until you're 18, Elijah! You can have some rice cereal soon though. (No sugar in that.)

Friends for lunch

We had a lovely lunch with friends yesterday: Kristy and Charlie, Lisa, Emma and Luke, Shane and Kayla, Corinne, Kate and Sam. Elijah was so excited about having friends over that he had to sleep most of the time they were here.

Baby club

Elijah has lots of friends around his age at playgroup. They are, from left to right, Emma, Sammy, Kayla, Paul and Sarah.

Elijah is the youngest by a couple of months. He has trouble sitting up for as long as they do, but he is doing really well!

A scrumptious birthday

I was so spoilt on my birthday. We had beautiful, fresh, local crayfish for dinner thanks to friends from church. They were delicious, done with herbs, garlic and butter on the BBQ.




Corinne made me a yummy 'volcano' birthday cake (my choice).We enjoyed it with the rest of our Tuesday night Bible Study group.

At the beach

We took Elijah to the beach this morning. He wasn't all that impressed, but tolerated it. It must have worn him out because he then slept for 2 1/2 hours, and then another 3 1/2 hours right after lunch. It's lovely to be close to the beach, especially when the temperature is above 40 degrees!

A new friend

This is Elijah's friend, Kayla (6 months old). We had a nice time with her and her mum, Shane. We went for a walk down to the river mouth and then down to South Beach. I'm sure they'll have lots of opportuntities to play together again.
