Elijah and Daddy made swords a while ago so that Elijah could enjoy some 'controlled' sword play and hopefully not pretend every other stick or long thing is a sword for wacking with. It's a very treasured thing kept high in the cupboard for special 'duels' with daddy. Devery was starting to get a bit upset at missing out on these occasions so Elijah and Daddy decided to make her a princess sword, complete with jewels. She is thrilled!
